In June of 2002, members of the PARC constructed a larger building to house the new N1BUG repeater being contructed to replace the old one.

The "doghouse" contains the PARC portable repeater, which was filling in while N1BUG was busy building a new 145.110 machine (later moved to 147.105) to replace the one damaged by lightning several months earlier.
